Workshop.
GL's! Hope youre reading this, as requested by Pn Zaini again, there'll be a workshop for the system this friday. Yes it is compulsory for all GLs. Sorry if you have to miss CF, or Chinese Society for awhile, it is very important for you to be there!
But meanwhile, if you REALLY REALLY cant make it, providing that you can give a very very valid reason, i will arrange another day to teach you. The system is not in use at the moment, but every GL needs to know how to work it before the man comes and fixes everything. And of course, your job as a GL is to teach those who are dutying..
So once again, important day people, please make it. Thanks.

Of Authors, Orientation and General Meeting.
B.O.M (s) -Form representatives are included- who have blogger / google accounts, post your email into the Cbox, so that i can add you as an author for you to contribute posts to this blog. :D
Oh and post all updates here, we dont want anyone to be outdated now do we? hahaha
And, Orientation is cancelled for the moment being, but there will be a short Ice Breaker afterGeneral Meeting this coming Friday. from 12.45 - 2.00.
This coming GM is very important for everyone as we're covering a number of pretty important matters. So please, make time for it, you wouldnt want to miss the ice breaker too :] We're handing out Signature Drives on that day itself so be there or be square!

Canteen Day
First of all, Ee Wen deserves a big round of applause for making things happen (:
So today was FAT DAY. Everyone had to stuff at least a bucket load of food down their throats. Some of them were great while some were just okay. For those who werent there, heres what happened.
7.15 - Quick briefing.
7.20 - helpers start changing into comfortable clothes that allows us to run hahaha
8.00 ish - preparations start. Bought 5 big packets of ice and loaded the ice box. (which wasnt enough actually cause we sold two to LEO club.)
at one point i made a drink for myself, the 'Anything & Whatever' which made me giggle everytime i say that name. hahaha. the sourness of the original drink kills me, and it would also corrode my throat, with its sizzles. eek. so i made this customized, less painful, less sour drink. and i LAVVVVVV ittt :D and how nice, everyone else loved it :D so from that moment onwards the recipe kinda changed hahaha. Proud proud *patpat*. Business was pretty okay, earned a few hundred from morning session. While making the drinks i was sweating like crazy, but please be assured that none of my sweat fell into the drink :D Everyone was busy selling, while Karmun and I were making the drinks. Finally we ran out of some ingredients. But the sunquick was abundant still. Big thanks to Ee Wen's mum for helping us stock up on the sprite!
Afternoon session was great. At first business wasnt that good at all. but then the customers started coming and the profit gradually increased! :D towards the end of the day it started raining, and everyone started coming in, which = more customers! :D:D:D:D happy i was :D
Thank you to those who helped! Your hardwork is truly appreciated. Alright people, lets brainstorm about what we wanna sell next year! :P
OH THE BEST PART ISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
OUR TOTAL EARNINGS TODAY WAS 1K! *around there la*

even after 5 something I took the rest of the puddings that pn Zaini made to the staffroom to sell and managed to earn a few bucks. also thank you to Pn. Aida for letting us sell those puddings during her class! Because of that we sold about 25 puddings!
Overall i could say that today was a success and Yu Rong is mighty proud of himself. hahahahah
A Major thanks to everyone again!! Without them we couldnt have achieved 1 K, so thankyou AGAIN. :D

Updates.
Hey guys, let's update ourselves! :)
CANTEEN DAY ( Monday, 8th of March 2010).
As you guys know, Canteen Day is tommorrow.
We're going to sell ANYTHING&WHATEVER ( Mixture of Orange&Lemon Sunquick, Sprite, Water, Ice and Ribena). - Something like LEO, but is not. -
Ended up, it will be 3 different colours due to the difference of density. :D
To drink it, you guys need to mix them up and trust me, it tastes very nice. :)
For the huge one, we're going to sell for RM3 per cup while for the small one, we're going to sell RM 2 per cup.
Besides that, we're selling pudding made by Pn.Zaini.
There are 2 flavours, which is Mango and Chocolate flavour.
We're selling for RM1 each.
So you guys must come and support! :)
To those who are helping out tomorrow, please follow these instructions :
For the morning session,
Wear your uniform to school for the assembly tommorrow.
Bring along your librarians' t-shirt and LONG pants.
Reach library by 7.15 a.m. to have a small meeting.
Ee Wen is telling you guys what should you do tomorrow.
At 8 something, Ee Wen or I will come to your class to let you guys help out for the preparation.
For the afternoon session,
Wear your librarians' t-shirt and LONG pants.
Bring your uniform along just in case there's assembly the last period tomorrow.
At 2 something, Ee Wen or I will come to your class to let you guys help out for the preparation.
Your cooperation is kindly appreciated. (:

ORIENTATION DAY ( Saturday, 13th of March 2010)
Is the first day of school holidays, I know.
And all the PBSM members, you guys will be having camp.
But I'm sure that you guys can skip half of the day right just for our Orientation? (:
Make sure that you guys make yourselves free on that day yeah especially the PROBATES.
p/s : Read up our board for further information. Make sure you guys do check up and update yourselves yeah! :)
Next.. it will be...
FUND RAISING!
We're lack of budget for this year Installation, so we'll be having a fund raising.
When you guys attend every SINGLE duty, you guys are required to bring at least 1 inch of old newspaper and put it in the BBM room.
The fund raising will start on the Tuesday, ( 9th of March 2010).
If you guys forgotten to bring, you guys are required to bring RM2 and to all the GLS, you need to pay RM1 if your duty mates didn't bring. So its your responsibilities to remind them to bring. (:. Therefore, make sure you guys remember to bring yeah!
Your cooperation is kindly appreciated. :)

Canteen Day is just around the corner and if you STILL have no clue about what we're selling this year, you can just take a look around the library cause i've just pasted the flyers around there. (e.g on the door, if you fail to notice it, i have no comment.) Nways, its called "Anything and Whatever" by Karmun. its a refreshing mixture of Sprite (is it? or isit 100 plus?), Ribena, Lemon + Orange Cordial . Hopefully, its ice-blended!
Unfortunately, L.E.O Club is selling the exact same thing as us. Which is called the Sasha's Drink. Credits to Sasha Kow :] It is literally the same thing except that theyre only using lemonade. not orange + lemon, like us.
So to those who're helping this year, prepare to promote as much as you can, but dont like FORCE them to buy. its rude. but at the end of the day, you may "force" nicely, haha. So i hope everyone has fun helping out. Okay that will be all :]
